Our Safe rooms are Texas Tech Tested to FEMA 320 guidelines. These guidelines require the shelter to resist a 15lb 2x4 missile propelled by a 250 mile per hour ground speed  tornado! The walls are 3/16" solid steel sheets welded to a 2"x3" steel frame. The safe room is anchored to a concrete foundation with HILTI 4" concrete anchors. We also epoxy the entire perimeter to the foundation. All safe rooms come with carpet and a battery powered light. The door consists of 3 keyed alike heavy duty dead bolt locks and a heavy duty door handle. Each shelter is custom built

to your specifications, you choose where you

want the door,which way it swings open and

where the vents are. The Safe room can be installed in any pre-existing garage or pre-construction and framed into the home. Installation for this shelter can be completed in under 4 hours.

This 1/4" vault door and 6" channel iron frame weighs over 600lbs alone! It has 4- 13/16" plungers that lock into the 6" channel iron frame. The Vault door features an inward swing design and electronic key pad locking system and is a significant upgrade in safety and security.
