This 6' x 8' Shelter weighs in at 12,600 lbs!!! Constructed of 6000psi concrete and 3/8" re-bar running both directions every 12 inches, 3" walls and 4" floor and ceiling this shelter is very strong. A professional installation crew will excavate a 8' x 10' hole 54" deep and lower the shelter into the ground with a rail truck. The shelter will sit level and be sealed with a double bead of concrete sealant around the seam. The dirt excavated from the hole will be evenly mounded around the shelter. The overall foot print of the shelter from edge of mound to edge of mound is approximately 15' x 15' and 28" to 30" above ground level.
